The event gathered
150 people

150 people attended our event in Amsterdam, gathering Bulgarian- and Dutch-based entrepreneurs, business professionals and investors. The discussion showed many synergies between the two ecosystems, such as mutual investments and successful exits. There were also common challenges for both countries, such as the problem of scaling up a company in Europe, as compared to the US where there are more success stories. Prior to the event, the panelists and organizers met Prince Constantijn van Oranje in a close meeting to exchange views on the Bulgarian and Dutch pipeline for business and talent.

  • Six years ago there were only two funds and almost no angel investors in Bulgaria. Now, there are >€10M allocated to startups.

  • To promote Bulgaria as an investment destination and one for talent to come back is part of our job and we encourage this process.
